From September 2021, a new Student’s Union, fitness facilities and over 800 bedrooms will transform the University of Brighton’s largest campus – and upgrade a stretch of the city’s busy Lewes Road for the benefit of residents and visitors to the area.

Charlotte, NC – I-77 Mobility Partners, of which John Laing is a consortium partner, announced last week that the southern section of I-77 Express from I-485 to I-277 in uptown Charlotte, will open from November 16, beginning at 8 p.m. Drivers will now be able to use all 26-miles of I-77 Express.
John Laing is pleased to confirm that Rijkswaterstaat intends to award the DBFM project A12/A15 Highway Ressen-Oudbroeken (ViA15) to the GelreGroen Consortium, consisting of Dura Vermeer, BESIX, HOCHTIEF and ourselves. Dura Vermeer, BESIX, HOCHTIEF and Van Oord are responsible for the project design, construction and maintenance.
The 12km route, connecting the Central Business District (CBD) to the wider city, opened on 14th December, taking passengers from Circular Quay to Randwick, via the CBD, Central Station and Moore Park.
John Laing Group plc (‘John Laing’), the international active investor in greenfield infrastructure, announces that it has entered into an agreement to invest A$51.5m (approximately £28m) in the East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility in Perth, Australia. This investment will take John Laing’s total investment commitment in 2019 to approximately £185m.
