The wind farm has been developed on a mountain ridge, at an altitude of c.450m-560m above sea level, with the turbines erected in a forest, surrounded by trees 20m-25m high. Those site conditions required careful planning and infrastructure during the construction, which remains in place after commissioning with active management to optimise the operation.
Sunraysia has total capacity of 255 MW and is located in New South Wales.
