Biographies

Andy is based in John Laing’s Melbourne office and is responsible for the origination of greenfield PPP projects across Australia and New Zealand. Having joined John Laing in 2014, he has invested in greenfield projects across road, rail and social infrastructure PPPs as well as wind generation assets. Prior to John Laing, Andy worked for Balfour Beatty Investments after beginning his career in legal private practice at Linklaters in London and Ashurst in Melbourne.
Andy holds degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Melbourne.

Greg is a Managing Director with primary responsibilities for origination and execution of investments in PPP & Projects in North America. He joined the company in 2016 and has 20+ years of experience that includes infrastructure development, investment, and public procurement, as well as real estate development and engineering.
Greg holds undergraduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Life Sciences from Queen’s University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

David joined John Laing in 2007 and has worked from the company’s offices in London, Singapore, Vancouver and currently New York in a range of investment and asset management roles. David is responsible for asset management in the PPP & Projects portfolio in the Americas.
David holds a BA History and Politics from The Queen’s University of Belfast and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde Graduate School of Business.

Duncan has 20 years of experience in infrastructure and renewable energy investment and asset management in Australia, Europe, and America. Duncan joined John Laing in 2018 and is based in Melbourne. Duncan is focused on asset management in Australia.
Before joining John Laing, Duncan held senior roles within the CIMIC Group (part of ACS) in Investments and Asset Management. He holds a degree in Economics from Flinders University.

Misha Nahorny is a Managing Director in Europe. He joined the company from Swiss Life Asset Management where he was responsible for origination and execution of infrastructure investments in northwestern Europe.
At Swiss Life, Misha led acquisitions of InfraReal, Aves One, and a portfolio of hydro generation assets in Norway. Prior to that, Misha spent eight years at OMERS Infrastructure, where he was led investments in NET4GAS and Autobahn Tank & Rast. Prior to 2011, Misha was at the energy teams of RBC and Citi. Misha started his career at Royal Dutch Shell in London.
